I have said it before, and I’ll say it again, I’m no amazing chef. I enjoy cooking anything fast and easy — it’s rare that I make a big, fancy dinner. With a two-year-old who loves something one day, then hates it the next, I just don’t have it in me to cook anything too crazy. I was excited when Mezzetta asked me to share a recipe using one of their Marinara Sauces because the recipe below immediately came to mind. It’s been a hit with my friends for years! What is it?! Little crescent roll pizzas! They’re super simple and they’re delicious. You only need a few ingredients, and they’re ready in less than 20 minutes… Making them the perfect dinner on a busy week night.
I was super excited when Burt’s Bees Baby asked me to partner with them to show off their gorgeous fall collection. As I browsed through their fun prints, I couldn’t help but be excited for fall! The lace, stripes and wildflowers all remind me of a beautiful, crisp, cool fall day. Have a boy? Don’t worry! The camo, rugby stripes and heathered colors make them just as adorable as the girl pieces. This collection has me so, so ready for fall!
Blaire was a sweet little frank breech baby, which means she was butt down, with her head, hands and feet all up in my rib cage. …This resulted in a scheduled C Section for me. I had several friends who had C Sections, and I did tons of research, so I felt really comfortable with what I should expect from my C Section. Well… Some things I was right about some things and wrong about others.
When I was putting together my baby registry, I focused entirely on things for our baby. I knew I’d need things for myself, but just figured I’d grab them at some point before Blaire was born. A week or two before my C Section, I hit up Target for the things I thought I’d need: one nursing tank and one nightgown. I thought I was set! (Insert crazy laugh here.)

As a shopaholic who also happens to be a busy, full-time working mom, my work wardrobe is very important to me. There are several, wardrobe related problems that seem to plague all working women – and I’ve finally found an (easy) solution to them.
We are excited to partner with one of our absolutely favorite companies, Freshly Picked, to tell you about the release of their new collection, The Stance Collection! It includes super cute, new moccs, including the Flower Pack Mocc we received. The Flower Pack Mocc is adorable! The floral is perfect for summer, but the darker tones will go perfectly with the little fall clothes we’re already hoarding in Blaire’s closet. Blaire says the purple flowers are her favorite.
I’ve seen smoothie bowls all over online, but haven’t found anywhere local that actually serves them. Sooo I decided to try making some myself. I made my favorite smoothie and then just cut up fruit to place on top. I also added chia seeds and oats on top. Yummy!
