My first week with Blaire as a newborn was such a blur. I was so tired. My body was drained from my C Section. We had endless visitors. This time, everything is different. Whether it’s because my recovery is easier since I didn’t have to have a C Section. Or because we’ve had less visitors stopping by. Or because I’m getting more sleep at night than I was with Blaire. Or… if it’s because having a three year old (#threenager) at home means our newborn seems like the easy one. ;)

I am SO excited to make two Easter baskets this year. I’ve always focused on the girly items and now I get to find cute boy things, too! I found cute little wire baskets in the Bullseye’s Playground (aka the Dollar Spot) at Target for $3. They’ll be super easy to repurpose after Easter… because you can only do so much with a basket that says Happy Easter! on it.
In Target’s seasonal Easter section they had little Easter eggs filled with Shopkins, bunny bubbles and princess chapstick. So I have to throw some of those in Blaire’s basket, too. ;)
I am so, so happy to announce the arrival of our sweet baby boy, Benjamin Robert. He was born March 21, at 3:50 a.m. weighing 7lbs 4oz and 20″ long. I actually couldn’t believe I was in labor with him because he was a week and a half early, but we are so happy he decided not to make us wait any longer! He looks just like his big sis, except for that dark hair.

The hardest part of preparing for baby number two has been choosing a double stroller. There are SO many options. And they’re all heavy. And giant. And expensive. The stores closest to my house just didn’t have quite the assortment I was looking for when it came to choosing the right double stroller for us. They each had 4-5 options, and neither had the few I had actually heard good things about. So I was really excited when Buy Buy Baby said they’d be happy to help me find the right stroller for our family. The best part? They want to help you, too!
