I am so, so happy to announce the arrival of our sweet baby boy, Benjamin Robert. He was born March 21, at 3:50 a.m. weighing 7lbs 4oz and 20″ long. I actually couldn’t believe I was in labor with him because he was a week and a half early, but we are so happy he decided not to make us wait any longer! He looks just like his big sis, except for that dark hair.
Woo hoo! I’m full term. I can’t believe it! Baby boy can come any time now. Well… he could wait about a week, give/take a few days.
Reason 1: Our final baby stuff shipment will be here Tuesday.
Reason 2: My temp at work starts Wednesday, so it’d be nice to train with her for a few days before ditching out for 12 weeks.
We finally have the nursery put together. It’s is just what I pictured! Blaire is always in there playing with her babies and reading them books. It’s so sweet. If you’re following me on Insta, then you’ve seen some sneak peeks on my story. Welllll… I included a few more of them below. ;) Fun fact, I’m wearing the same top in my 37 week picture that I wore in my 37 week picture with Blaire. Soooo I thought it was only right to include my 37 week picture from my first pregnancy at the bottom of this post.

You guys. It’s March! … and that means it’s baby month. I am SO in love with our maternity pictures. We got so, so, so lucky with the weather that day. Who knew we would be blessed with a 70° day, in February, here in the midwest?! We had originally picked a different day, but when we saw the weather forecast, our amazing photographer squeezed us in.

We are less than four weeks away from my due date, which means we are taking every opportunity we can to spend quality time with Blaire while she’s still our only baby. Luckily, we’ve had patches of nice weather and getting outside to the park has always been one of our favorite things to do together. So we’ve taken advantage of it, especially on the weekends.
Blaire isn’t picky. She’s happy to go down the slide 1000x, climb the rock walls, swing, or just blow bubbles. At this point in my pregnancy, blowing bubbles and swinging are my two favorites. It’s just much easier to keep up with her when we’re doing these things and it’s less scary than her scaling the rock walls or making her way up the tall slides. ;) So before naptime, we spent some time running around, blowing bubbles and hanging out at a park close to home. Blaire was so excited to try out a new set of bubbles she got for her birthday last weekend, so she had a blast!

The hardest part of preparing for baby number two has been choosing a double stroller. There are SO many options. And they’re all heavy. And giant. And expensive. The stores closest to my house just didn’t have quite the assortment I was looking for when it came to choosing the right double stroller for us. They each had 4-5 options, and neither had the few I had actually heard good things about. So I was really excited when Buy Buy Baby said they’d be happy to help me find the right stroller for our family. The best part? They want to help you, too!
